After quickly taking care of some infected, Giuseppe, Killgore, Tony and Rick become aware of several planes rolling out onto the runways (one of which is the one with Oliver). Scrambling they manage to commandeer one of the nearby jets and pursue the now airborne planes.
Despite making every attempt to save Oliver, it turns out the Legion of Belvidere needed none! After solving the riddles and taking control of his aircraft, Oliver stitched a parachute out of the damaged remains of the ones found within his aircraft, and having only 20% success chance safely glided back down to the ground.
Romanoff's rescue is pulled off in large part by Tony, who after being put into position was able to Astral Project himself down to the other aircraft. Romanoff unstaked was able to jump free and make his way back down to the ground via parachute also.
Upon investigation of the surveillance tapes at the airpot several interesting things are observed :
- Vernon is seen dealing with a vampire known as Sivjian Brush, an occult specialist and Finchley's former lover.
- Vernon appears to be coughing, and his daggers are broken. He is seen giving them to Sivjian in exchange for the address to a known vampire crafter called Wargrave.
- A mysterious grey hooded figure is seen in the background spying on Vernon.
I'm so damn curious who that hooded figure is...!
