The Incarnadine Road - Session 11

Stocking Up
  • After a bit of trouble evading the DOVE, Shin proves his worth by sniping down the monitoring drone.
  • The PC's find their way to a hardware store and stock up on supplies.
  • Red finds a way to disguise the van  (I liked the food truck idea).

The Checkpoint
  • After a few rounds of debate it is decided that Wylde and Tibalt would be the two to be in the front seat and do all of the talking.
  • After the talking fails, a large bribe is needed to get through into the city.
The Camarilla building
The vacant echo-y halls of this once prominent and still impressive structure look altogether an allegory to the Camirilla itself.  It's once grand purpose of protecting and controlling the kindred of the night note totally betrayed, as the DOVE now use it as a trap to lure the lost souls of the night to their doom.

Pidgeons!
  • Although origionally suspected to be a really poor idea, Wylde used his skill in Animalism and Animal Kin (and several loaves of bread) to convince a flock of pideons to block the line of sight of cameras.  This allowed the PC's to gain access into the Camirilla Building without being noticed.
Traps
  • Those without the protection of the Demon Skin Grafts suffered from the many holy water vapor traps under the floors.
  • Kudos to Wylde and his impressive athletics checks initially to disarm these traps.
Fight with the golems
  • The hidden chamber consists of one singular test.  A room that is bathed in alternating sunlight and moonlight, and two giant stone enchanted stone statues.
  • Large amounts of damage is taken by all as the PC's attack the golem and the golem attack the stone tablet in the center of the room. "You must endure countless days in order to reap the rewards of immortality.
  • The test figured out at the last second by the group, who turn their attacks on the central tablet and stop the cycle of damage a turn or two before it is too late.
Into the vault
  • The Prince of Seattle is found dead on the floor.  His left hand removed, and a sentence scrawled in his own blood upon the floor.  The vault which lay beyond stands open, it would seem that Ryka has gotten there first...
