Well, I have to say that I'm pretty pleased with the results of last week's PVP game. I thought that the teams worked together fairly well, and the interactive environment elements I added were pretty well received. Congratulations to [M.A.] and Roec for bombing their way into victory, I was sure that the superior combat / soaking abilities of Tony and Giuseppe would see them through. If anyone was curious about what it looks like from my end I've provided the link at the bottom of the page (minus the hand drawn in notes on the hard copy).
GM's Notes
When you're a straight up fighter, it's hard to deal with traps and ranged attacks.
ReplyDeleteI was impressed that a character like Rosco could do so well. I'm glad that min maxing does not guarantee a win.
ReplyDeleteWhen bombs were being dropped on us, a small part of me wanted to immediately investigate, and cease the bombing. A larger part of me thought it was hilarious to keep thinking that ghosts were blowing us up.
ReplyDeleteRoec was only getting a 2 on those craft checks, you guys really could use some more perception/alertness. Also, giving the melee fighters a weapon that dealt STR+15 damage was as Lilkely to cause a quick violent death as the explosives. Not sure why it was left behind.
ReplyDeleteTrue, I kind of figured the thing was a bit un-weildy, so I passed on it. Truth be told though, with our opponents running/flying away from us, we wouldn't have many opportunities to use it anyhow.
