New Campaign Announced !

“It’s been 5 years since the secret of Vampires was set loose into the minds of humanity, and since then our kind has suffered.  The Camarilla has far from regained its position as the world’s authority.  Its sole purpose now seemingly is to try and persuade the gullible that it was all just a trick, or some disease, or some other bullshit that no one in their right mind can bring themselves to fully believe.  Too many home recordings or cell phone videos have gone viral to have the mortals go back to being as truly ignorant as the were...those were the good old days, and they are long gone. 
            You’re lucky I found you.  My name is Corvus, and this is my group, mostly refugees from the major west coast cities.  We ain’t got a glamorous life, but at least we still got one.  I can’t promise you much if you join us beyond the fact that we all look out for one another; safety in numbers and all that.  You’ll be responsible for getting your own blood, keeping a low profile, and you gotta swear right now to help anyone else in the group who finds themselves in trouble.  Because once you’re in, they’ll do the same for you. 
I hope Vernon is eternally suffering for what he has done to us children of the night.  Are you with us?”

The new Vampire: Resurrection of the Masquerade campaign will not be like any other thus far.  It begins 5 years after the fall of Vernon and the end of the Masquerade.  Vampire populations have dwindled to only 10% of what they once were, and all of the rigid ideologies of the Camarilla and Sabbat have been beaten out of them.  The goal of most kindred now is simply survival; as witch hunter bands, mortal governments, and werewolves all strive to eliminate from the world the once vicious undead menace. 
Big cities have taken measures to purge their populations of all Vampires, and so those that have survived have struck out in small bands across the globe.  Seeking refuge in small villages and towns off the beaten path, the Kindred that remain are always looking over their shoulders, paranoid about being found out for what they really are. 
The game will begin with the PC’s having recently been taken under the wing of a Brujah named Corvus, and have joined his band of survivors.  As the group travels between small towns in western America a strange series of murders is uncovered, leading to intrigue, betrayal, and the potential for kindred to regain a foothold on the world once more. 
            Get your D10’s ready,  because unlike the epic themes in The Mephitic City this one is going to be cutthroat, gritty and personal.

Please leave a comment with your character description as soon as you can.  The more time I have knowing your character, the more incorporated into the plot they are likely to be.  New PC characters listed below before September 1, 2013 will receive 3 bonus points.
