The game began right were it was left off, with the PC's fighting their way through armed guards and halucinations to get to the Necro-Lantern housed onboard the armored train. With all manner of terrible foes and continuos damage, the situation continues to look extremely grim for the group. Veronica Bell is found badly in need of blood, as is Rick Brown who was discovered within one of the storage lockers anboard the train. Perhaps the PC's would have died fighting that perpetual battle if it were not for the mysterious figure in grey arriving on the scene and trying to shake some sense into the players.
At the 11th hour the pieces are finally put together as the group finally tuns on the impostor Giuseppe.
The figure in grey which has been spying and attacking friend and foe alike for some time, finally seems to be on the right side. Despite ending the hallucinations two of the resurrected (Jack and Horridform Kaytoss) are very real and the grey hooded figure keeps them at bay to allow the PC's to get to the Lantern.
The Necro-Lantern's automated protection system is rigged up to one of the teleportation machines that Vernon has been using to plague the world. Thankfully the group is able to get to the scene and follow it through to the other side before it vanishes.

With an odd look Vernon quickly dissolves into the blackness of the scene. Why did the glyphs within the lantern look so similar to the ones etched onto Valdred's vault door?
A very well done session! One of my favorites so far I think.
