C2 S7 - The Mephitic City - 21

The group is faced with three hard choices in the twenty-first installment of The Mephitic City.  The night begins with Cylas the Follower of Omar paying a visit to the group, binging a warning.  It seems the Omarians angered by their exclusion from the Camirilla have taken to the streets and are attacking all kindred on sight.  Just after this the mystery of why the floors were all wet is solved as the much sought after Harvic makes an appearance  and appeals to the group for action against Vernon.  The occult laboratory where Vernon is crafting his monsters is learned, as well as a way to stop souls from being bound to Vernon upon being slain.  It seems however that the Skull's actions against Harvic's freed Watchdogs has resulted in them becoming mortal enemies.

A call from Finchley telling of how Leon Hyde has been chosen to be the new Prince of New York goes horribly wrong as the group overhears him being abducted.  A call from the Easton moments later confirms it, and the group rushes to the Great Lawn to try and rescue their friend.  Maria's plight as well as the shaky phone call from Alfredo detailing his near death experience during the attack on the Abyss goes uninvestigated as a result.  Followers of Set attack the group bound for the park by truck, but despite their best efforts the awesome driving skills of Darren Anderson is more than a match for them.  Overcoming some seriously harmful traps by the notorious witch hunter the group manages to rescue Finchley and escape without being caught by the Camirilla.  Roec's ability to fly saves the day, as does the supreme soaking power of both Giuseppe and Mr. Trist.
Additionally Darren commits diablerie killing the vampire known as Umbriel, but not before his victem tells of Vernon and Lona's trade.

  1. I find that I take some space in each comment to talk about who in particular I want to murder. EVERYBODY. I NOW WANT TO MURDER EVERYBODY, EXCEPT FOR GUISEPPE'S FRIENDS.
